To clarify 99speedmart net profit per outlet. 2024 Q2's the Revenue RM2.4billion ÷ 2651 outlet ÷ 3 months = RM302k revenue per month per outlet. Q2's Profit RM125m ÷ 2651 outlet ÷ 3 months = RM15.7k per month per outlet. Correct me if my calculation is wrong, this looks like a very good figure for a grocery stores that sell the cheapest price at lowest margin to other grocery competitors in entire country. If they expand to 3000 outlet, their profit will go up more and more. For those who say they don't invest in assets and only rent shop lots, that is their competitive advantage as they do not hold any liability but only rental expenses, everything else goes to profit!
