PETALING JAYA: Berjaya Corp
Bhd’s newly-appointed group chief executive officer Jalil Rasheed has acquired more shares in the group bringing his shareholding to 136 million shares or a 2.7% stake.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Berjaya said Jalil bought 66 million shares of between 32.5 sen and 33.75 sen each.
Notably, share price of Berjaya Corp have more than doubled in two weeks to a five-year high of 46 sen despite the broader market being on a decline.
