Reference is made to Meridian Berhad’s (“Meridian” or “the Company”) First Announcement dated 8 and 9 April 2024 in relation to the Company being classified as a PN17 Company pursuant to Practice Note 17 of the Main Market Listing Requirements (“MMLR”) of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Unless otherwise defined, the terms herein shall bear the same meaning as defined in the First Announcement.

In compliance with Paragraph 4.1(c) of Practice Note 17 of the MMLR, the Board of Directors of Meridian wishes to announce that the Company is presently looking into formulating a regularisation plan to address its financial condition (“Regularisation Plan”).

Premised on the First Announcement, the Company is required to submit a Regularisation Plan to the relevant regulatory authorities on or before 22 September 2024, for approval to implement the Regularisation Plan, which is approximately four (4) months from the date hereof.
