The Board of Directors of Ahmad Zaki Resources Berhad (“AZRB” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that the Company has on 6 June 2023, received and accepted a Letter of Acceptance from the Government of Malaysia – Jabatan Kerja Raya (“the Award”) for a project known as “Pembinaan Jalan Pintasan Cameron Highlands : Menaik Taraf Jalan dari Bulatan McDonald’s ke Persimpangan Brinchang / Time Tunnel (FT59) dan Membina One Way Loop di Kea Farm, Cameron Highlands, Pahang” (“the Contract”) at a total Contract value of RM122,500,000.00 for a Contract duration of 42 months from 15 June 2023.

The Contract is expected to contribute positively to the Group’s future earnings.

None of the Directors and Substantial Shareholders of AZRB or any persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Contract.

The Board of AZRB is of the opinion that the Contract is in the best interest of the Company.
