KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Tony Tiah Thee Kian is planning to merge stockbroker TA Enterprise Bhd
with its property arm TA GLOBAL BHD in a cash and share swap takeover deal.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, TAE has proposed to acquire 2.12 billion shares in TA Global, or the remaining 39.83% equity interest in the company it did not already own for 28 sen each.
As it is, TAE has a 60.17% stake in TA Global.
TA Global's share price ended Tuesday at 23 sen on Tuesday before the stock was suspended to make way for the takeover offer.
