Indonesia bans imports of fresh poultry, products from Malaysia
JAKARTA (Aug 15): Indonesia’s Agriculture Ministry will ban imports of fresh poultry and unprocessed products shipped after Aug 9, ministry says in statement.
* Ban on imports due to outbreak of highly pathogenic Avian Influenza
* NOTE: Indonesia imported ~19 metric tons of turkey and 617 tons of duck in 2017
