Bintai Kinden bags RM18.54m job from TNB

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 30): Bintai Kinden Corp Bhd has bagged a contract worth RM18.54 million from electric utility company Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) to undertake works at its electrical sub-station here.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Bintai Kinden said its wholly-owned subsidiary Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko Sdn Bhd received and accepted the letter of award from TNB on Oct 27 as the contractor for the design, supply, erecting, testing and commissioning for Mainhead 'A': PMU 132/33kV Vision City (2x90MVA) Kuala Lumpur.

The job, Bintai Kinden said, is under Contract TNB 2777/2017, and is expected to be completed within 480 days from the commencement date.

Bintai Kinden expects the contract to contribute positively to its future earnings.

Bintai Kinden closed 5.3% or one sen higher at 20 sen, valuing the group at RM57.52 million.
